Doctors of Optometry are part of the primary care medical team. We are trained and authorized to diagnose and treat most eye problems at your first appointment.
The basic service offered is a comprehensive vision examination that lasts approximately 30 - 60 minutes. Patients tell us they greatly appreciate the thorough assessment of visual systems received in these examinations. The range of tests includes:

While the result for most patients is a prescription to correct refractive error, if necessary, you may be referred to one of our specialty clinics for further testing or treatment.
We offer a full spectrum of eye services beyond the comprehensive eye examination.
Contact Lenses
We prescribe and evaluate all major brands of soft contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems. Specialized fitting may include Monovision, Bifocal contact lenses, astigmatism contacts, Ortho K and Keratoconus. Our staff is able to answer many of your questions and is available for ongoing contact lens instruction and training.
Optical Dispensary
Our optical laboratory has the latest in equipment to not only fabricate your glasses, but to maintain and repair them should they become broken or damaged. We are able to tint, coat, harden and edge spectacle lenses. We are able to provide you with any frame or lens design available. Our highly qualified optician and staff are able to adjust and fit your lenses for extended comfort and vision.
Surgery Co-Management
Our office provides working arrangements with eye surgeons and more specialized eye care doctors to provide many of the surgical services such as Cataract surgery, Laser surgery, Refractive surgery and Strabismic surgery, retinal detachments, retinal tears and hemorrhages. You can be assured that your eyes will be comprehensively managed by the best eye care professionals. |
